URBAN CLIMATE & ECOLOGY

Cities are unique human-created ecosystems that are home to billions of people worldwide. As more people move to urban areas and global climate warms, we seek to understand how urban systems work to build healthy, liveable, more sustainable cities.

AIR QUALITY & LOW-COST SENSORS

Air pollution is the single largest environmental contributor to premature mortality worldwide, yet surface monitoring remains sparse. New, low-cost sensors have tremendous potential to increase monitoring capabilities for research and environmental justice.
